The Metallurgical Collection of The Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport organises museum educational workshops for children between 5–7 and 8–10 in groups at Újmassa, beside the furnace, every Saturday (starting at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00).
While children take part in a 45-minute workshop, parents can visit the museum accompnaied by a guided tour, free of charge! No one walks away from here empty handed, every child gets a present at the end of the workshop.
Painting, drawing, beading and treasure hunting around the Smelter but children can also prepare their own embossed coin.
The entrance fee is 1000 HUF, which includes the museum educational fee and the museum visit of one parent. In case of two children + one parent or one child and two parents the full price is 1500 HUF. If showing the ticket after the programme, the Metallurgical Collection in Felsőhámor can be visited for half price (Palota Street 22.).
In case of rain, the programme takes place in the Metallurgical Collection in Felsőhámor.
