During these workshops we involve disabled children, and let them use their creativity and cognitive abilities in order to better know and understand them and their needs, while their experiences are used during the museum educational workshop.
Workshops usually start with a fable or a folktale, this way creating a friendly, cosy atmosphere in the group. Tales make our fantasy move, they develop our intellect and gives us guidance with our emotions, reconciles to our fears and desires, offers solutions to the problems. The story and its characters always connect to the topic of the workshop and to the object to be prepared, which is lifted from the tale. Participants get a glimpse of the features of characters, qualities, while they create them from aluminum, according to their own imagination. During the workshops, children get acquainted with the characteristics of aluminum, its possibilities of use, while their awareness is raised concerning the importance of environment protection and recycling.
